Friday, the Professor
Friday, the Professor, is a multifaceted Brazilian-born educator, drag queen, DJ, and human rights advocate now based in Finland. With 15 years of teaching experience and a decade of performing, she combines entertainment with activism, particularly focusing on LGBTQI+ rights. Her background in Natural Sciences shifted during her master's to human rights education, leading her to train educators and students globally. Notably, she was honored by São Paulo’s LGBTQI+ parade in 2017 for her educational impact. Through her YouTube channel Delta Drag and her hit project The Fabulous Trivia Night, Friday blends humor, learning, and advocacy, engaging wide audiences in both formal and informal settings.
Friday offers a variety of services for venues and events, including bars, schools, companies, private parties, festivals, corporate functions, birthdays, and weddings. These services include DJing, drag makeup workshops, drag bingo, hosting events, and the popular Fabulous Trivia Night. Additionally, she conducts educational workshops on topics such as bullying prevention, Pride history, LGBTQ+ inclusion in schools, gender in the natural sciences, and creating safe spaces for LGBTQ+ students.
