Over the past year, we've witnessed a wave of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, some of it aimed directly at drag artists. But drag has always been, and will always be, more than just performance. Drag is art. Drag is acceptance. Drag is an expression. Drag is chosen family. Most of all, drag is survival in the face of discrimination and hate.
